    I took a pic there as well. The throne looks bad now. 12\12\08 The seat is ripping, and it has nasty grease like spots, where your head woud be. It's a shame. The palace was nice but it is getting worn. I suppose war will do that to a place, though.

    This hand-painted detailing on the ceilings of the palace is amazing. When I was ther, 2004-2005, I could not help but admire it. I feel sorry for those Iraqis who had to paint it; already on the ceiling. It is beautiful and covers the majority of the palace's ceilings.
